Terms and Conditions of Service for the Journey
1. These Terms and Conditions pertain to all travel services that the client, hereinafter referred to as the Customer, has ordered from Teddy Tours Lapland Oy, hereinafter referred to as Teddy Tours.
2. When making a booking, the Customer confirms having read these Terms and Conditions of Service, approved such and commits to adhere to these.
3. These Terms and Conditions of Service may be viewed on the Teddy Tours website. Teddy Tours may revise these Terms and Conditions of Service when necessary. Each journey is implemented in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Service valid at the time of making the order.
4. Teddy Tours offers teddy bears and other soft toys holiday trips to Finland, Lapland and Rovaniemi. People or living pets may not participate on these trips.
5. The Customer delivers the soft toy in a postage package to Teddy Tours for the purpose of the trip. The maximum weight of the package is 2 kg.
6. Trips for soft toys that exceed the maximum size and weight and the costs for such must be agreed separately between the Customer and Teddy Tours.
7. The Customer shall send the soft toy in a package that is sufficiently strong and durable for it to remain intact during postage and for it to be reused for return postage.
8. The Customer making the booking must be an adult. If the soft toy is owned by a child, his/her parent, guardian or other adult shall make the order on the child's behalf.
9. The order is binding and the agreement relating to the trip becomes valid once the Customer has sent the ordering and registration form to Teddy Tours and the fee has been credited to the Teddy Tours bank account.
10. Once the transaction has been made, the Customer receives confirmation via email instructing for the soft toy to be sent to Teddy Tours.
11. Liability for the soft toy sent by the Customer is assigned to Teddy Tours once Teddy Tours has received the package from the Finnish Post Office (Posti).
12. Teddy Tours shall take the best precautions to ensure no damage is incurred by the soft toy during any part of the trip. If, however, the soft toy becomes damaged, Teddy Tours is liable for compensation through the company’s third party insurance policy.
13. The copyrights for photographs taken during the Teddy Tours trip are exclusively owned by Teddy Tours. The Customer may not use these images for any means of publication or commercial activity without specific permission and agreement issued by Teddy Tours. The same rule applies to video films taken during the trip.
14. Teddy Tours has the entitlement and permission to use the photographs and video films it has taken for its own marketing measures and communications.
15. Teddy Tours may use the Customer’s contact details for its own marketing purposes focused on the Customer. The Customer is entitled to opt out of receiving such marketing material. Teddy Tours shall not give the contact information of its Customer to any third party without the express prior consent of the Customer.
16. In any possible case of dispute, the matter shall be resolved by the Rovaniemi District Court.
17. Teddy Tours Lapland Oy is a Finnish owned limited company. The company’s domicile is Rovaniemi and the registered office is located at: Kansankatu 6 A 15, FI-96100 Rovaniemi.
Payments by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard
If you would like to pay by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Teddy Tours Lapland Oy will act solely as the marketer of the respective products and services and will provide the products to the buyer. All complaints and claims for compensation will be handled by Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy.
With regard to payments made by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy acts as the merchant of the product and the trade transaction takes place between the customer and Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy. The seller is liable to meet all the responsibilities related to the trade. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy is also the recipient of the payment.
